Four villages make up Hensies — Hensies itself, Thulin, Hainin and Montrœul-sur-Haine — spread across the Haine valley on the French border, where the Borinage’s last colliery shut in 1976. What has grown since is a mix of farming, cross-border transport and industry, small manufacturers, and the new activity park taking shape with Dour at the Porte des Hauts-Pays. None of those employers has a film studio down the road, so we bring one: EchoLab arrives with cameras, sound and lighting, films your video podcast, webinar or talking-head video in your own offices or workshop, and agrees the delivery timeline with you up front. Where we film in Hensies
Hensies is four places, not one: the village centre with its schools and council offices, Thulin, quiet Hainin, and Montrœul-sur-Haine on the edge of the Haine plain. We film in offices, workshops, farm buildings, sports halls and meeting rooms across all four, in the businesses lining the Mons–Condé canal, and out on the Harchies–Hensies–Pommerœul marshes when a scene needs daylight and open water.
Built for Hensies’s teams
Coal built Hensies and left in 1976; what employs people now is farming on the fields that still cover most of the commune, road transport and logistics on the French border, construction and metal trades, plus schools, care services and the commune itself. The Porte des Hauts-Pays park being developed with Dour will add more. These are recruiters, trainers and family firms — the kind that need a clear explainer video, a recruitment film or a recorded briefing far more than a glossy ad.

Can you film in a workshop or on the shop floor?
Yes. Many Hensies employers are manufacturers, hauliers and building firms, so we are used to noisy, moving environments — we place microphones and lights around the work rather than stopping it. We agree what needs to be seen with you before the shoot day.
We work with French clients across the border — can the video be multilingual?
Yes. Hensies sits directly on the French border, and we regularly deliver the same recording with subtitles in several languages, plus short social cuts. Our in-house AI tools speed up subtitling and clip selection; the delivery timeline is agreed with you when we book.
How does pricing work?
Every session starts at €99. You build the rest in the booking — crew, editing, social clips, livestream, on-location — and the price updates live. All prices excl. VAT; we confirm the quote before anything is charged.
What do I leave with?
It depends on the package. A turnkey podcast includes the edited 16:9 video, the audio file and 5 vertical clips for social. We agree the delivery timeline with you when we plan the shoot.
Do I own the footage and files?
Yes, outright. Raw footage is available on request.
