Retie is a Kempen village of roughly eleven thousand people, gathered around a market square where a lime tree has stood since at least the seventeenth century, with the hamlets of Schoonbroek, Werbeek, Hodonk, Looiend, Obroek and Den Brand around it. Heavy industry is not the story here: the municipality has one modest business zone, the Beemdekens, and many residents work in the larger industrial estates of Arendonk and Turnhout. What Retie does have is contractors, schools, care homes, farms, local B2B firms and clubs — all of them publishing video, none of them with a studio nearby. We film in the centre around the market square and the Sint-Martinus church, at the companies on the Beemdekens zone, and out in the hamlets — Schoonbroek, Werbeek, Hodonk, Looiend, Obroek and Den Brand. The Kleine Nete and the streams known as the Zeven Neten cross the municipality, while the Prinsenpark provincial domain and the Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten canal give you outdoor backdrops whenever a shoot needs to leave the office.

Filming in Retie — your questions
Do you film on location in Retie?
Yes. Retie has no film studio, so we bring the whole setup — cameras, sound and lighting — to your office, workshop, classroom or meeting room, in the centre, on the Beemdekens zone or in one of the hamlets. Crew and gear are included, from €99.
We are a school or a care home — can you record training video?
Yes. In a municipality of this size, schools, care organisations and municipal services are among the most active video publishers. We film course modules, information video and interviews on your own premises, in Dutch. The delivery timeline is agreed with you before the shoot.
Can you film outdoors, at the Prinsenpark or along the canal?
We can. The Prinsenpark provincial domain, the banks of the Kleine Nete and the Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten canal work well for interviews and cutaway footage, and we bring lighting and wind protection for the sound. Public domains have their own filming rules, so we check permissions with you first.
How does pricing work?
Every session starts at €99. You build the rest in the booking — crew, editing, social clips, livestream, on-location — and the price updates live. All prices excl. VAT; we confirm the quote before anything is charged.
What do I leave with?
It depends on the package. A turnkey podcast includes the edited 16:9 video, the audio file and 5 vertical clips for social. We agree the delivery timeline with you when we plan the shoot.
Do I own the footage and files?
Yes, outright. Raw footage is available on request.
